My Legitimate Home Business Blog Alexa Ranking Increased Again!
This is a follow up on my previous post on; “How I Increased My Legitimate Home Based Business Wordpress Blog Alexa Ranking“. Today started off with a beautiful surprise for me. My Legitimate Home Business blog shot up the Alexa ranking from about 1.7mil to 1.4mil. That’ s almost 300, 000 up the Alexa staircase.
My last recorded Alexa ranking was 1,697,511 on the 20th Dec 2008 and my Legitimate Home Business blog ranking today, 10th Jan 2009 is 1,405,129. That’s 292, 382 positions up the rank to be exact in about 20 days.
That’s taking into consideration that I have been busy with the recent X’mas and the New Year holidays and blogging was put on hold for a couple of days, naturally. But then I started blogging again the whole of this week but nothing happened until…
I created a few Squidoo lenses with the relevant keywords pointing back to my website and blog yesterday and whoa la! I wake up with an improved ranking today. Could this be a coincidence? Its possible. The only way to find out is to create more squidoo lenses and wait for the result.
I know you can get good search engine ranking using good keywords to create Squidoo lenses and directing backlinks to them, but boosting up Alexa ranking. That’s new to me, but a good surprise nevertheless. I will continue with squidoo and see if that surprises me again. I should highlight it here that I have also launched a article marketing campaign for my Legitimate Home Business blog about 2 weeks ago. That helped too I’m sure.
