Today I am going to explore how to make money selling information products online and how you can create them. The most common form of information product is e-books. They have been around for years and are here to stay. Why? Well, they are good alternatives for physical books, you save on paper and you save on printing cost. Thus, saving you in production costs.

They are easy to make. If you have a solution to offer to the public, you have a product in hand. It could be an e-book on how to train your dog to catch mouse or how to use Adobe Photoshop. Audio books are also popular items online. Many prefer to listen rather than read a book nowadays. Don’t worry, they are easy to make. I would reckon that you package this along with your e-book, up the price and sell them as a complete package.

Another popular information product is “how to” videos. You can get a free software at Camtasia to produce them. What this software does is, it allows you to record what you do on your computer screen and record your voice at the same time. This gives you the ultimate how to tutorial combining visual and vocal instructions. You can also combine a few how to videos or e-books and sell them as a package as well.

After you have created the information products, register with Clickbank as a merchant and use their services to sell them online. Their services include collecting credit card payment and delivering the product download link for you. They also provide an affiliate program where you can recruit affiliates to sell for you. This is a good third party merchant you can consider.

There you have it. You can now start creating your own information products and make money selling them online. The only thing stopping you from making money online now is you yourself. Just do it and make it a reality.
